There are many ways to evaluate the merits of equipment. Technical evaluations involving measurements are just one way to do that. The particular tests done here are just one way to do technical evaluations. The measurements I did were done using just one of many possible approaches for doing the particular measurements I did. Typically, only one sample of each card was tested, and there is no guarantee that that sample is representative of how the card performs in general, or that the card has not undergone significant technical changes since I tested it.
