Equipment Used: Test media was a custom CD created with CoolEdit Pro 1.1 in 32 bit mode, converted to 16 bit with 0.53 bits of spectrally uniform, Gaussian distributed dither; and burned onto Ricoh media using a Plexstor R412C and EZ CD Deluxe 3.5. Signals processed into computer using an Event Gina. Signal analysis with SpectraLab 3.32.14.

Discussion Of Results

The jitter and high frequency distortion of this player were not very good when the shock control circuits were enabled.
