Software Used: Windows98 SE.  Driver Release: 4.06.624. Card used for data acquisition was a CardD Deluxe. Analytical software: Spectra Lab 4.32.14. Test done using a P2-500 CPU in a  Asus P2B-B system board.

Discussion Of Results

The Toslink output measurements included 2 meters of commodity RG-59 coaxial cable, 5 meters of  Hosa Toslink cable, and a Fostex COP-1 Toslink to SPDIF converter.

This player  seems to have a few spurious responses to simple test signals, most of which are at relatively low levels and high frequencies. More complex signals did not seem to generate more spurious responses.
