Discussion Of Results

Since this test involves perceptual coding, please consider the results shown here as being "necessary" rather than "sufficient". In other words, good performance with the signals used is a reasonable requirement for any audio device, but good performance of perceptual coders with these signals is not an absolute guarantee of good audible performance with musical program material.
