The purpose of this page is to show the graphical representations of the "RealJukebox 1.04.36 " test results from the PCAVTech signal test suite of 16 bit, 44 KHz test signals. All tests were performed at a bitrate of 128 Kbps.

Discussion Of Results

Since this test involves perceptual coding, please consider the results shown here as being "necessary" rather than "sufficient". In other words, good performance with the signals used is probably a reasonable requirement for any audio device, but good performance of perceptual coders with these signals is not an absolute guarantee of good audible performance with musical program material.
