Discussion Of Results

These represent the best measurements that I can reasonably expect with my test setup. It is possible that some units I test will show better performance than this if they have distortion that compensates for distortion in my test setup. I've seen this happen with some of the distortion measurements with certain other excellent cards.

This particular test setup has an early-production Layla PCI card that is considered by some to have a flawed DSP chip. I am working with Event to get this corrected, but they are very slow to react to my EMail questions.
